Somalisa Acacia is a luxury tented camp situated in Hwange National Park and is built on slightly raised decks. The camp has been recently furbished and has its own private views of the small waterhole. The camp boasts of 4 luxury safari tents out of which 2 tents are family units and have inter-leading doors between parents and children’s rooms. Each room has ensuite bathroom, indoor & outdoor shower and various other facilities that will make your stay memorable and worthwhile. Game drive tours are worth experiencing at this camp as guests can spot amazing species roaming around in their natural environment.

Program
Day 1: Arrival
You will be picked from the Manga airstrip that is a hour drive from the Somalisa Acacia Camp. With your arrival at the camp, you will check-in and the lunch will be served. Later depending on the time, you will proceed for the afternoon game drive with your ranger to explore the wilderness of Hwange National Park. Make your way back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drives
Wake up early for the morning game drive that is the right time to admire the landscape, the birdlife, and encounters with wilds living in the plains of Hwange. You will get back to the camp for breakfast and lunch will be served before the afternoon game drive starts.
Afternoon game drives are fascinating and this is the time when the animals are visible near the waterholes to quench their thirst and to rest in the bushes. By the end of the game drive, you will get back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure
Get up early to proceed for your morning game drive to Enjoy wildlife, bird watching and the vast open plains of the region. You will later get back to enjoy the breakfast before you check-out. You will later be transferred to the Manga airstrip from where you can board the flight to the nearest international airport.
Location
The nearest airport to Somalisa Acacia is Hwange Airport which is 125 km from the camp. Alternatively, you can choose to fly to the nearest Manga airstrip and from there you can take a 30-minute game drive transfer to the camp.
