The Ruckomechi camps lie on the most fascinating location of Mana pool national park. Nestled just close to the Zambezi River that flows beside the Zambezi escarpment, Ruckomechi can be the ideal location for experiencing game drive and spotting the wilds like elephant and buffalo, giraffe and other. Each of the tented room opens up to a great view of the river and the open plains where the free wilds can be seen roaming freely.

Program
Day 1: Arrival
Getting down at Mana Main airstrip, you will be transferred to the Ruckomechi Camp that is 30 min drive away from the airstrip. As you reach, check-in and you will enjoy the lunch before heading out for your time permitting game drive for the day.
You will be accompanied by the ranger who will help you in understanding the wildlife and habitat of the region.
Get back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drives
You will start the day with an early morning game drive in Mana Pools National Park. The breakfast will be served after the game drive and you have the time at leisure before lunch. Depending on the time, you will later proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park to explore the habitat of big five and other wilds dwelling there. The region houses an abundance of the elephant while buffalo and hippo, hyena and zebra can be spotted commonly.
Dinner will be served at the camp before you call off for the day.
Day 3: Departure
This will be the last game drive for your visit where you can admire the scenic landscape and the biodiversity housing the birdlife and other nocturnal. Morning game drives are best for spotting the wilds coming out from the bushes to start the day.
Get back to the camp for breakfast before checking out. You will later be transferred to the Mana Main airstrip from where you can board the flight to the nearest international airport.
Location
Ruckomechi Camp can be reached by boarding the chartered flight from Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport or Victoria Falls International Airport. The Mana Main airstrip is around 30 minutes' drive from Ruckomechi Camp.
