03 Days Island Bush Camp Safari
The Island Bushcamp features stylish and classic accommodation in the wilderness of South Luangwa National Park. There are five chalets built from the natural material that is designed as an identical twin on a wooden raised platform. There is an en-suite bathroom and include other amenities that add on to the luxury of the bush camp. The chalets open up to the view of the Luangwa River making it ideal for game watching.

Program
Day 1: Arrival
You will be picked up at Mfuwe International Airport and later will be first transferred to Island Bush Camp with an en-route game drive. This will be a 3-4 hour game drive with transfers before you reach the camp. The rest of the day is at leisure where you can enjoy game viewing from the camp and later in the evening enjoy the dinner. Stay overnight there.
Day 2: Game Drives
Wake up to a beautiful morning and get ready for the morning game walk with an early breakfast. This is the right time for morning safari walks where you have the most diverse birdlife to watch. The fascinating wilderness around Bilimungwe Camp in South Luangwa National Park houses the big five with some endemic wild dogs and hyenas. Get back to the lodge for lunch and some leisure. The afternoon/ evening game drive starts post-lunch where you can go for a bushwalk with the guide. Explore the region on your foot wandering around the waterholes where you can see the best-concentrated wildlife. You will get back t the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure
As the day starts, enjoy your breakfast and you will check-out from the camp. With an en-route game drive, you will be transferred to the Mfuwe International Airport to board the flight to the onward destination.
Location
Island Bush Camp from Mfuwe airport will take three and a half-hour drive to the camp followed by a game drive. There are flights available from Lusaka to Mfuwe that take one hour to reach.
