Governors’ Private Camp Safari
With the 8 spacious tented camps, the Governor’s Private Camp is set amidst the secluded bend of the Mara River. The tented camps are attached to the en-suite bathrooms while the interior boasts of large king-size beds and other furnishings. Adding on leisure to your stay, there is a lounge area with sofas and armchairs. Game watching here is amazing as you can spot the hippos and crocodiles in the Masai river.

Program
Day 1: Arrival
Arriving at Musiara airstrip you will be transferred to the Governor’s Private Camp. Check-in and the lunch will be served there and refresh. Masai Mara is known for the diversity of flora and fauna that you can discover during the safari drives. Planning safari in Masai Mara during the migration season is best to spot the wild beast as crocodiles, dwelling inside the premises. Get back to the camp as the dinners will be served there.
Day 2: Game Drives
Get up early for a morning game drive to spot the predators like the big cats- Lion, Leopard and cheetah dwelling in the vast premises of Masai Mara. You can spot the herd of elephants and other Africa wilds around the bushed during the morning hour. You will get back for breakfast and lunch will be served before the afternoon game drive. The park houses waterholes that attract the majority of wilds living there. The wildebeest, giraffes, zebras and hyenas can be seen during the game drive. By the evening you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure
This will be the last game drive for the safari in the Masai Mara game reserve. You will get early for a morning game drive where you can spot the birds and the charismatic clear African sky under above the vast plains of Masai Mara. Get back for breakfast and later check out. You will be transferred to the nearest airport to board the flight for onward destination.
Location
Governor’s Private Camp shares the airstrip with Governor's camp that is around 3-4km or fifteen minutes drive from Musiara airstrip. There are chartered flights available from Nairobi to the Musiara airstrip.
