03 Days Chikunto Lodge Safari
Lying close to the Luangwa River, Chikunto Safari Lodge is one of the elegant and stylish properties. With the five safari tents, the lodge offers spacious rooms and comfy furnishing with a modest touch. Each of the safari rooms of Chikunto is airy and includes an en-suite bathroom, private shower, flushing toilet, and twin basins. The green canvas tents are furnished and built with natural wood that adds a traditional African touch to the safari camp.

Program
Day 1: Arrival
With your arrival at Mfuwe International Airport, you will be transferred to the Chikunto Safari Lodge that will take an hour's drive from the airport. As you reach the lodge, check-in and the lunch will be served. Later in the afternoon, proceed for your walking safari tour with the guide to discover the vast wilderness and the ecosystem of the region. You will be wandering around the Luangwa River admiring the wilderness there. Get back to the lodge for dinner and stay.
Day 2: Game Drives
The day starts with a morning game drive where you can enjoy the bird watching and game watching spotting the predators and other wilds. Your breakfast and lunch will be served at the lodge before you proceed for an afternoon/ evening game drive. South Luangwa houses an incredible wilderness with an abundance of flora and fauna. The elephants and zebra, giraffe, lions, hippo, wilds dogs and hyena can be spotted around near the waterholes and the bushes. You will get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure
Get up early for tour morning game drive at South Luangwa national park before checking out. Your breakfast will be served and later you will be transferred to the Mfuwe International Airport to board the flight for onward destination.

The Chikunto Safari Lodge is around one hour drive from the Mfuwe International Airport. One can fly from Lusaka International Airport to Mfuwe International Airport.
