Program
Day 1: Arrival
You will arrive at the Amboseli Airstrip from where you will be picked and dropped at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. Check-in at the lodge and the lunch will be served. Later in the afternoon, get ready for the game drive to discover the vast ecosystem and savannah of the region. There is an abundance of wildlife and elephants are the most common animals that can be spotted. You will get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drives
With the sunrise, you will proceed for an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. The 4x4 game drive is best to spot the plethora of wilds and discover their natural habitat. Mount Kilimanjaro looks magical with the green open plains of Amboseli. You will get back to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. You have the time for leisure before you head out for an afternoon game drive. There are big five and predators like big cats that are dwelling in the wilderness of Amboseli. Elephants and hippos can be seen in the waterholes with the giraffe, zebra and other animals strolling around. Dinner will be served at the lodge. Stay overnight there.
Day 3: Departure
As the day starts, you will proceed for the morning game drive with your ranger. As the tour ends, make your way back to the lodge for breakfast and later check-out. You will be dropped at the Amboseli Airstrip to board your flight for onward destination.
Location
The Amboseli Serena Safari lodge can be reached via a chartered flight from Nairobi to Amboseli Airport. The distance covered by road will be around 15-minute drives from Amboseli Airport to the Serena Safari lodge. From Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Nairobi) the distance to the lodge is around 204 km.
